AUBREEVISION - Observations from the far side of the dial

Was watching America's Next Top Model last night and discovered that the bodies of the so-called "plus-sized" models looked very much like mine. Bear in mind that I'm 125 lbs and a size 6-8, curvy & with meat on my bones but certainly not overweight. Like Eric said, no wonder so many women have eating disorders.

Oh, well. If my future includes plus-sized modelling, bring on the bacon!

I caught a few episodes of the previous Top Model search and was amazed at what came out of the judges' mouths. Soundbites:

"That picture looks a little fat-assed."
"You've got a great body...your face, not so much."

I have to say the lingerie "walk-off" cracked me up -- it was like a scene from Zoolander. I had assumed the walk-off concept was pure Hollywood pretend. Not so, it appears. The mad Blue Steel/ambiturning skills were breathtaking.
